Peter Vitale

Peter Vitale began his insurance career in 2011 as an Account Executive with one of the world’s largest personal lines insurance carriers assisting clients analyze their everyday risk and recommending appropriate policy coverages to protect against that risk. Peter was quickly recruited to open his own agency for this same insurance carrier and grew his new endeavor from zero to one of the fastest growing agencies in the country. In 2016 Peter sold his agency to focus full time on consulting other insurance agents and assisting them in maximizing their business growth – just as he did with his agency. Peter has become regarded as a thought leader in the insurance industry and has consulted for agencies across the country. 

In 2021 Peter launched Encore Insurance – a customer centric independent insurance agency. As an independent insurance agent Peter can sell products from multiple insurance carriers presenting options and more tailored coverage to his clients. Peter believes every client and their family is unique and deserve the opportunity to be insured with a carrier that is best suited for their needs. 

Peter is a member of the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of Eastern Michigan where he also sits as a member of the Executive Committee and the BBB’s Educational Foundation. Peter studied Political Science and Accounting at Oakland University where he also served as a member of the University’s Academic Conduct Committee. He has won numerous awards throughout his insurance career.
